Gender Matters - 3rd Women on Boards™ Conference

27 -29 April 2011
Sheraton on the Park
Sydney, Australia

Women on Boards™ inaugurated its conference series in May 2008 to progress action on improving gender diversity on Australian boards. The 2nd Conference – Time for Action – held in September 2009, proved to be a catalyst in moving the discussion onto the mainstream media and business agendas.

The theme of the 3rd conference has been chosen deliberately to enable reporting on recent ASX and other initiatives as well as provide women at earlier stages of their career with a clear perspective on why ‘gender matters in their career’.

The conference will draw together women from all professional backgrounds and career levels, human resource managers, senior executives and directors to discuss and progress this critical issue. It also provides an unparalleled networking opportunity with peers and leaders throughout the duration of the conference.

The conference program will feature:

  • High level international & national speakers
  • ASX Chair & CEO forums
  • Sector showcases (sport & financial services)
  • Focus on young career women
  • Directors at Dinner
  • Boardroom readiness workshop

Draft program available in July 2010.
